This event marked the conclusion of the Geodata for Agriculture and Water (G4AW) programme, which began in 2013 and closed end in late 2024. We reflected on more than a decade of digital innovations, entrepreneurship, and international cooperation, where the Earth observation community has made significant contributions to global challenges in agriculture, water management, and climate. We celebrated our collaboration with you, as a deeply engaged network, and we look forward to exploring new developments and opportunities for the use of Earth observation and other (space) technologies.
This report presents key results, lessons learned, and recommendations for the future of geodata-driven agricultural support.
