The Netherlands Space Office acts as the governmental space agency in the Netherlands and has the task to develop and implement the Netherlands’ space programme. One of the key elements in this programme is the stimulation of innovative space technology and satellite applications for societal, economic and scientific benefits. The NSO represents the government of the Netherlands regarding space affairs nationally and internationally. The NSO also works to innovatively and openly bring the story of space to teachers, students and the general public.
The NSO is a partnership of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Environment and the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO).
